Our first ever Kalkan retreat, organised for ladies in business, wishing to connect and socialise on a deeper level than business meetings usually permit, was in 2016. Each year this business women’s retreat has become more and more popular. Our group capacity this year will be limited to approximately 10 lucky ladies ready to relax, learn, share and enjoy one another’s company.

Each and every one of you brings knowledge, support and inspiration to this retreat for which we are eternally grateful. Not to mention the amount of fun we experience together through great activities, several of which are included and others optional.

It’s an opportunity to step out of your business in order to work on it, gain ideas and learn from others in a mellow, laid back atmosphere.

There’s an easy structure to the days and no pressure, so if you need to hop on a zoom call or get a quote out to a client or even just need a little ‘me time’ nobody will bat an eyelid.

That said there is plenty available to ‘do’ if you’d like to. From a stunning, sunset cruise with dinner, on our private gulet, to walking through wonderful countryside, culminating with the most beautifully presented breakfast you have possibly ever seen!

The surrounding areas of Kalkan has some truly great places to visit which are totally inspiring from a nature or a historical viewpoint. Of course if you prefer to relax on your sunbed, that’s ok too.

Where will this take place?

In glorious Kalkan, a charming bay resort on the turquoise Mediterranean coast of Turkey. We have reserved two luxurious 5 bedroom villas on one plot forming a part of our Cedar Villa Collection

Each room has its own en suite bathroom and twin beds or a super double. There’s a large pool terrace, ideal for sunbathing and exercising. We love to eat al fresco so breakfast is laid out on the dining table and we also make use of the barbeque too.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, 2 fridge/freezers and ample crockery etc. There’s also a handy downstairs’ loo meaning you don’t need to schlepp up to your room when you’re in the living room or outdoor areas. And talking of schlepping there’s no need to worry about carrying your suitcases up the stairs as the villas also have a lift.

Transfers – from and to Dalaman airport when travelling as part of the main group *note if travelling outside these times additional fees are charged

Sunset Cruise/day cruise – a stunning sail on a traditional Turkish gulet, visiting bays, watching the sunset, enjoying a delicious evening meal cooked on board, returning to Kalkan under a blanket of stars *drinks not included

Catered buffet style breakfasts(6), dinners (2) at the villa – local produce, freshest ingredients and good variety for evening meals e.g. bbq one night, traditional Turkish cuisine another etc

What’s not Included

Flights – please book your own or we can pass your details to our agent to book as part of the group, there is a £50 admin fee charged for this.

Note: Flights are non refundable or transferrable, for this reason we stress the importance of taking out comprehensive insurance.

Meals – other than those included above you will be obliged to pay for your own meals and drinks. As a guide, these can range in price from £15 – £45 without drinks. When we go out as a group we organise the bills into smaller groups when we order, that way it’s easier to keep track of things.

Additional activities – we have put together a few other trips and experiences that you may wish to partake in, they are priced separately and require minimum numbers to go ahead. All include private transport and are exclusive to our group. If you are interested in these just shout and we can arrange.

Day Trip to Kas – cute harbour town, shops, bars, sightseeing, beach clubs £25/person excl. entrance to beach club

Gentle nature walk and exsquisite breakfast – near Bezirgan village £30/person inc. breakfast

Messing around on a boat £40/person inc bbq lunch

Patara sunset and restaurant £12/person excluding dinner

Turkish Hammam £45/person

Day trip to ancient ruins and Patara beach £15/person excludes entrance

Tips and Taxis – we recommend a 10% tip if you’ve enjoyed your meal. When we travel as a group we will pay the tips to the drivers, including the main group airport transfers. For taxis in and around Kalkan please pay and add to our group Splitwise account (only for those that travelled with you). You will recive an invite to join the Splitwise group shortly before the retreat, and all will be settled up at the end of our week together. Taxis into town are currently around 130 -150tl (£3-5), these costs can be shared with those you travel with by adding to the individuals on Splitwise.
