We have 2 very special and skilled ladies in their fields to assist with the programme.
Vicki Baumann, qualified Yoga instructor, from YogaWithVickib; will be running daily classes aimed at Yoga newbies, those who have been in the past but not recently or who are currently attending classes and want to learn more enjoying the benefits of practising in a beautiful setting.
We will always start with breathing exercises and finish with relaxation. Vicki will introduce and practice vinyasa flow, a sequence of asanas with stretching, balance, and strength poses.
Vicki says no fancy kit is necessary, just wear whatever is comfortable for you and of course a smile on your face!
Jo Tocher, is a passionate advocate of helping people find their natural flow so they reach their optimum potential and feel more able to deal with the ups and downs of everyday life. She is trained in multiple therapies including Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Wellbeing Coaching, Mindfulness and Meditation and is one of 16 Founding Energy Alignment Method mentors in the world.
Jo will be enhancing our retreat with blissful, daily, meditations to help you relax and let go of stress, worry and anxiety that we all too often carry around with us.
If you’ve never tried any meditation or mindfulness techniques before, then do not worry, Jo will immediately put you at ease and aide you to discover for yourself how powerful a tool this can be.
Jo will also be holding a workshop teaching you some EAM (Energy Alignment Method) techniques to help get you in flow and release any resistance or stuckness that you’re holding onto.
Where will this take place?
In the luxurious 5 bedroom, Cedar Villa, aptly named as it’s constructed from cedar farmed from sustainable forests; it not only looks good but smells great! The Villa’s nestled in the hillside above Kalkan bay with inspirational views, a large terrace for our yoga classes, and a private pool to cool down in.
There are quiet areas you can take a book to, communal areas such as the lounge, al fresco dining area or around the pool where you can have a friendly chat. A fully equipped kitchen where you can make a coffee or snack and beautiful bedrooms all with en suites and air conditioning for a perfect night’s rest.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout so if you need to keep in touch with work or family it’s no problem. There’s also linen, towels and pool towels provided as well as a washing machine, iron and board and hairdryers which leaves more room in your cases for your other favourite items.
What and where is Kalkan?
Kalkan is a delightful bijou Mediterranean resort grown up around a picturesque bay, on the tranquil Turquoise Coast of South Western Turkey. Because of its geographical structure and natural lay of the land it affords some of the most exquisite views and stunning sunsets.
It boasts a plethora of well-priced, first rate restaurants, serving the freshest foods, produced locally. As you walk down the pretty cobbled streets you will be impressed by what there is on offer from simple café style traditional Turkish food through to some very fine dining. The service is always amicable and hospitable, and you’d be hard pushed not to find something on the menu that didn’t take your fancy.
You may also be captivated by some of the local Turkish wares, attractive boutiques, alluring jewellery, and leather shops boasting some great designs along with a couple of superb art galleries. It’s a great place to buy some affordable and unusual gifts. For those that have not visited Turkey before you will be impressed with how welcoming Turkish people are; it’s not at all uncommon to be offered Cay (Turkish tea) by a shopkeeper whilst looking at their items or extra mezes (dips or starters) in a restaurant.
What’s There to Do?
Simply as little or much as you want. From a relaxing Hamam (Turkish bath and massage) through to Scuba diving, visiting nearby historical sites, boat trips, cookery classes and more.
We will be offering a few optional extras in the form of bookable trips and activities; all of which have been extremely popular with our previous guests.
Of course, if your idea of heaven is to recline by the pool with a good book, then, please do, you are by no means obligated to do anything other than what you fancy.
The nearest airport is Dalaman that you can fly to direct from many UK airports. We intend to book our flights in October 2018 and you may prefer to travel as part of our group to take the hassle out of booking and to have your Dalaman–Kalkan transfer included. Of course, if you prefer to book your own that’s not a problem.
We will be organising transfers for the main group travel time, the price of your transfer will be included in your booking unless you are travelling outside these times in which case transfers will be an additional fee. Transfer time is just 90mins and we will stop for a short comfort break.

Booking Conditions and Cancellation Policy
£200 Initial Depositis required to reserve your place before 14th June 2018; £250 thereafter. Deposits are non-refundable if less than 90 days before the retreat start date. However, if you have someone willing to take your place we will be happy to refund you, once their payment is received.
Flights payment of £200 due by 25thSeptember 2018.
Final balance payment is due by 4 weeks before start date of the retreat i.e. 9thApril 2019. Please note if there is over/under payment on flights we will adjust this on the final balance invoice.
Once balance is paid no monies are refundable unless an alternative booking is made to replace you.
A booking agreement for your stay at Cedar Villa will be sent to you for your signature and confirmation once your reservation has been made, alongside your deposit request with full payment details.

Experienced holistic therapist Jo has been working in the field of complementary therapies since 1997. She made the decision to cross over from the corporate world after a pregnancy loss led her to wanting to help other people.
After taking a diploma in Aromatherapy at The Tisserand Institute she went on to train in multiple therapies, including Aromatherapy in Pregnancy, Indian Head Massage, Reiki, Hypnosis, Wellbeing Coaching, Mindfulness & Meditation and is one of only 16 Energy Alignment Method Mentors in the world!
She believes we can all greatly reduce daily stress through small life-style changes as well as practising de-stress techniques such as mindfulness and meditation. A keen teacher, she runs regular relaxation classes and workshops and give talks on stress and wellbeing.
Jo holds professional membership of The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)
There will be an opportunity to experience EAM (The Energy Alignment Method) to help you let go of anything that is holding you back. Or have a delicious relaxing Aromatherapy full body massage or head,neck and shoulders. Ever wanted to try Reiki? Here’s your chance to rest and relax while Jo will release blockages and help open your Chakra’s.
Her classes are always encouraging and guide new students through vinyasa flow; demonstrating and adjusting through practice. “I love seeing the positive impact that yoga brings to those that practice regularly. Very quickly my students see improvements in their flexibility, their balance and strength.”
Yoga is for everyone. It is not competitive.
